Karen Morales is originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, she studied architecture before transitioning from construction management to a more creative practice. Her work is informed by a longstanding interest in art, craft, and design. She is currently completing a Master of Interdisciplinary Design at Emily Carr University, where she continues to explore interdisciplinary approaches to making and creative expression.
